Turning cart abandoners into comeback customers

Black Friday in Brazil breaks sales records for Samsung, but the week after is historically the worst. Our solution? Analyzing online abandoned carts from 3 years prior which revealed 735,000 ‘forgotten’ customers. We then emailed all 735,000 loyalty members "Throwback Deals" with impossible to ignore personalized messages. The emails not only generated a 318% YoY uplift, they transformed Samsung’s slowest sales week into its second-best of the year.
