The client was facing limitations with their legacy business model and they had a need to elevate the role of the brand from being just a supplier to being a key part in their customer success. We engineered a sophisticated process to procure restaurant review and menu data from online sources scaling up to millions of pages and hundreds of millions of data points. By applying natural language processing, we successfully automated the mammoth task of sifting through the data and turning the noise into knowledge. That gave great insights for the client across its customer base and the entire industry as a whole. This enabled a successful digital transformation for how the client managed its Business and its customers.
Introducing Food Pulse: Your Smart Restaurant Advisor
Food Pulse is a data-powered mobile app that tracks a restaurant’s reputation to help chefs and restaurant owners easily spot the trends that matter and provide the solutions to win diners over.
Scanning over 29,266,575 data points from APIs, social media and food blogs for 222,713 restaurants, Food Pulse uses Artificial Intelligence and machine learning to analyze ratings, reviews, photos, sentiments, comments — even emojis — to find out what diners really, really want.
And then presents the results in a way that’s easy for chefs to understand. Along with thousands of tips, trends and articles from the UFS library to improve everything from recipes to customer service, productivity and even plating.
